Clare joined the Shunryu Kempo Karate Academy in August 2000 and through the patient tutelage of Kancho has formally and informally trained for 11 years to achieve her Black Belt [Shodan-ho] in September 2011.
During her 8 years in Tang Soo Do Clare won many titles and added a fair few trophy's to her collection.
Clare hopes to advance through the syllabus and work towards gaining her 'Senior Instructors Licence' [Menkyo]. And continue to assist Kancho Merton to develop the Academy.
